weird bruising on foot

i just noticed today in the shower i have some weird, unexplainable bruising on the top of my left foot ( which appears to be where some veins intersect . there has been no pain or anything i havent dropped anything on my foot, i just noticed this bruise today and i look at my feet everyday ( showering ). I do however suffer from this thing that affects both feet, wher they get hot and restless it seems and thats been going on for years im not sure if that has anything to do with the bruising, but it would be the first time they have appeared relatively at the sametime, i was wondering if you might know what causes this or what it might be
