Im a forty yr.old female who recently sprained my left ankle. During weeks of hopping and bearing the weight on my right foot, I've developed a condition that I don't understand. My right foot, under the outer ankle, feels compressed. It takes me turning the foot slowly inward until I hear the ankle pop, before it feels releaved. Also, the tendons on my instep and front of the ankle have been very fatigued. It is hard to use raise the foot up and down repeatedly on the gas pedal of my car, and holding the brake really tires it. I have had muscle spasms in the arch when I try to elevate and rest this foot, and feel tingly, prickly feelings all over the top. please explain. My podiatrist has given me compression stocking and una boots with some relief, but what is really going on?
