Crushed foot injury

8 months ago I was hit head-on by a drunk drive.
My left foot suffered crushed metatarsals and cuboid.
I was in a cast for 8 weeks and a walking boot for 2 months. Now I have a brace the fits in my shoe and straps below my knee. I also have nerve damage and have had 2 nerve block shots.
I have been in pain for 8 months, my foot Dr says I will be in pain for a long time and there is nothing more that can be done.
Should I get a second opinion?
