Re: Sesamoid pain ?

The sesamoids are under the 1st metatarsal head. When they are injured, usually there will be pain when they are palpated and when the big toe is pulled upward (dorsiflexed)

The sesamoids should be visible in the x-rays that were taken. I always take a comparison view of the other foot.
