What does it mean to have fluid in the lateral semoid? What causes this and what needs to be done to treat it? This showed up in an MRI I had 2 days ago and was told to follow up with my podiatrist but he won't see me. I need to know if this is something to worry about or not. Would going to an orthopedic doc be helpful or should I call my insurance and get a new podiatrist? I was also fitted for an aircast today, will that help with this? Thanks for your help. Karen
