I injured my foot a few months ago now and was diagnosed today as having a detatched tendon along the lateral side of my foot (sorry i don't remember what it was called). The doctor gave me a cortisone injection there and then (which hurt quite alot!) and said he'd see me again at xmas. Can i expect this injection to hurt a lot more over next few days before it starts to help and does he expect the tendon to re-attach itself?

Thanks for your help and time,

Helen x
