All my life I have had a distinctive 'bounce' when I walk. The faster I walk, the more pronounced the bounce. I am very aware of the bounce, and friends have commented on my walking style. I have tried many times to walk 'without' bouncing, with no luck (unless I stiffen like a board and look even more ridiculous). Is this bouncing indicative of a structural problem, or a habitual walking style that I have gotten so used to, I can't change?? Would a certain type of execrcise help to level out my walking??
