Morton's Neuroma Surgery

I had surgery in May 2004 as I had Morton's Neuroma. I thought that finally I was going to be able to walk without pain. For about a month the only pain I had was from the surgery. Around a month after surgery I started getting the same old pain back. It is now 5 months past surgery and the pain I had prior to surgery is back and causes severe pain, especailly after walking long distances. Why did the surgery go wrong as I heard it had good results? Do I need another surgery? Did the orthopedist leave some of the neuroma?

Lined with soft fabric on both sides, this ~2mm thick SiliposŪ proprietary gel pad is an excellent cushion to help relieve the burning sensation and discomfort of the five metatarsal heads of the foot (the ball-of-foot) by protecting the ball of foot from repeated friction and abrasion with the shoes.
