Without examining your foot or the xrays, I can't give you an exact answer.

After a fracture of the foot, it is common to have swelling for a period of time (several months). This can vary due to the patient's age, health, circulation, activity etc.

You might want to try wearing a light support sock for compression. As far as the shoe goes, your foot will let you know when it is ready.

Hang in there, it will take more time.
