Pain in ball of foot

I dislocated the three middle toes and had to have pin in for 6 weeks. Now I have a lump in the ball under the middle toe that hurts to walk on, you can rub it after heating pad and it does make it feel better. What can I do or who should I go see the orthopist or a podiarist?
