Re: Broken Sesamoid Bone

Many tiomes the sesamoid will develop into an asymptomatic non-union. As far as surgery, there are different opinions regarding this and it depends on which sesamoid is broken.

Discuss your concern with the orthotics with your doctor. Perhaps they can be adjusted or modified or remade.
