Re: gait dysfunction, calf muscles, tendons

I had a patient with a very similar problem and I made him an AFO- ankle foot orthosis. This is a combination orthotic and ankle support. There are several labs that make these and I have used several of them. I liked Langer's DCO the best of the ones I have tried.

When you call a podiatrist ask if they make AFO's.

Tuli's Double-Ribbed Pro heel cups are the most advancesd shock absorbing heel cups available today. The primary force of the heel strike is absorbed by the larger and higher waffle pattern while the lower and denser waffle pattern absorbs the high pressure and final force spike of heel strike. Perfect for sports activities.
