Long Term Heel Pain

I have been diagnosed with Planter Fascitias and heel spurs. The problem started last April when I stomped my foot on uneven ground to scare away an animal.
I did not seek medical treatment for the first two weeks thinking it would go away. But it did not.
Several trips to the doctor were of little or no help but arch supports seemed to help somewhat. Finially I went to a PDM and after 6 trips he had some hard fiberglass? 3/4 orthodics made for me. This helped some and my foot has improved over time. But it is now almost 10 months later and I am still having pain. It has never completely gone away for more that a few hours at a time. I always feel something in my heel and sometimes arch. What should I try next? Any ideas?

A layer of gel combined with a foot cover to help protect metatarsals and toes from friction and pressure. It also ideal for cushioning the ball of foot and provides warmth for people suffering from arthritis or poor circulation to the toes.
