Re: Persistant instep pain despite orthotics

You are wise to get another opinion instead of giving up. One thought I have for your problem is to use a night splint when you sleep. This is to stretch the plantar fascia. Ultrasound may also help. I can't say for sure about the orthotics without examining your feet and skates.
