Severed Big Toe

My big toe was almost completely severed right below the toe nail by a truck lift. The bottom part of the toe was not cut. The bone was broken.

It was sewed up and I went home.

Circulation looks good 3 days from suture removal. It only hurts when I am standing up.

I am working with am MD. Should I see an ortho or podiatrist (have a toe nail that will be going soon)?

Is 100% recovery of use possible?

How long do these healings take?
