Thank you for her response. I wrote to the athletic trainer asking about the walking. The response that I got was that the Doctor had given her a 'walking boot', 'a cast type brace that she is able to walk in.' My daughter said that when she wears it there is no pain. I have cautioned her to stay off it as much as possible to keep the swelling down. The reason that she was given for the delay was because of his schedule. I will post next week what he does say as a diagnosis.
