Re: calcaneal nerve entrapment

I had one cortisone injection (thin needle) but this seems to have made it worse. Went to see a neorologist today who says nerves will be affected by calcification of back of heel - says more rest but no drugs will help and perhaps in the end I will have to have an op to shave off calcification but I have heard this just grows back - is this true and what do you think I should do wait more time or have the op. Or are there any other options thanks for your help
