Usually, I will splint the 4th and 5th toes witha small foam corn pad between them. If you dont have a small piece of foam, you can use a small piece of a foam make up pad or something similar. Wearing a comfortable sandal might help. If that is still uncomfortable, ask you doctor for a Darco ( or other post op) shoe.

Hang in there. It will take a number of weeks.
