Fractured 5th metetarsal (Jones Break)

In late November I slip in a puddle of water and fractured my 5th metetarsal(Jones Break), I wore a cast and endured crutches for 10 weeks. I finally had the cast removed and now I am wearing an ortho aircast removeable boot. The podiatrist told me that these fractures typically take at least 27 weeks to heal. I am a healthy 25 y/o, female who led a very active lifestyle before this injury. Is there anything I can do on my own to help speed up the healing process. At home physical therapy, supplements, ANYTHING....Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Specially developed for the treatment of plantar tendopathy. An area of softer silicone is incoporated on the medial side of the cushion, the area most sensitive to plantar faciitis pain.
