Partially torn calf muscle followed by achillies pain

5 weeks ago I partially tore my calf muscle playing field hockey. I have had weekly physio since. Over the last two weeks the pain in my calf has got btter but has been replaced by an acute localised pain in my achillies (about 3 inches up from the foot. This appears to be worse when my foot is fully extended.

Three weeks prior to my accident I bruised both heals due to old footware. The next week I bought new trainers and as a result had sore achillies on both legs after playing.

The Active Ankle offers flexibility and security. It will feel different from anything you have ever worn for ankle protection. The hinge allows freedom of motion that you may not be accustomed to. Do not mistake this freedom of movement for lack of support. A leading university said, the Active Ankle provides more support (inversion) than the leading air-stirrup brace, the leading lace-up brace, or a tape job.
