how to free up hands while using crutches for broken ankle

Dear Dr.

I am a 41 year old woman who recently broke an ankle from a fall on ice. I will be in a cast for 8 to 12 weeks, and I am not allowed to bear any weight on the ankle either. I am also the mother a 2 year old and have been having my parents, God bless them, taking care of both of us. I have grasped the use of crutches, but I want to know how I can free up my hands to get something from one place to another, for example food from microwave to table. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank You.

Specially developed for the treatment of plantar tendopathy. An area of softer silicone is incoporated on the medial side of the cushion, the area most sensitive to plantar faciitis pain.
