Re: re: POST CHEVRON BUNIONECTOMY

MICHELLE, THANKS FOR YOUR QUICK REPLY TO MY POST. I WAS FORTUNATE TO DO IT WHEN MY KIDS ARE GROWN AND MOVED OUT AND ONE IN COLLEGE..IT MUST BE MORE DIFFICULT WITH SMALLER CHILDREN. I WOULD DO IT AGAIN BECAUSE THE DEFORMITY NOT ONLY WAS UNSIGHTLY BUT I COULD NOT FIND ANY SHOES TO FIT ANYMORE AND I HAD PAIN WITH WALKING..I'M HOPING I WON'T HAVE ANY RESIDUAL EFFECTS AND I'VE FOLLOWED ALL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER, ALTHOUGH I DO KNOW EVERY PATIENT HEELS DIFFERENTLY AND I'VE CERTAINLY READ SOME STORIES WHERE PATIENTS NEVER REQUIRED EVEN A TYLENOL TO THOSE THAT WERE TAKING PAIN PILLS MONTHS LATER..IT IS A ROUGH SURGERY AND SUCH AN INSULT TO THE BODY AND AFTERALL, WE DEPEND ON OUR FEET FOR EVERYTHING..THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY AND HOPE FOR A FULL RECOVERY FOR YOU AS WELL, IF IT WASN'T FOR MY HUSBAND, THE MILLION ICE PACKS, MY LAP TOP AND CHOCOLATE, I DON'T KNOW HOW I COULD HAVE GOTTEN THROUGH IT...TRISHA
