Cheilectomy and scar tissue

I have posted numerous articles following my surgery - apologies but am anxious for any info anyone can provide. I was not too happy with the results of my surgery in December - still had no movement and pain. My Consultant referred me for physio. I am currently having physio and ultra-sound once a week which is resulting in limited movement but am still experiencing pain. The physio seems to think I may regain more movement but will most probably always have pain. Regaining movement seems to be pointless if I am to be in pain as the pain stops me from using the joint!! My physio seems to think there may be a build up of scar tissue preventing movement. Can anything be done about this? Can a second cheilectomy be performed to remove the scar tissue? Also I still have a lump over the joint (should this have been removed with the first cheilectomy?). Would love to hear from anyone who has maybe had similar problems. Many thanks.
