Re: Foot pain

This happened 2 1/2 weeks ago, I have been in a teenie shoe( per drs request) since and its gotten worse by the day. I see a podiatrist finally today. What do you recommend I ask of him to get to the bottom of this. I have been doing some research online and have realized torn ligaments cannot be detected by x-rays which is all he did.. I have read there are several different grades of tears as well and each are treated differntely so therefore how can he treat me by not knowing how severe it is? My insurance is with a clinic that you have to see a family dr first and be refered which is frustrating and has slowed down the process tremendously and I feel I might have done more damaage in the last 2 weeks by walking on it.They are super conservative so any guidence you could give me on how to apporoach my care from this point would be appreciated.

I wrote a few days ago, titled torn ligaments if you need to refer to that post as well...thanks so much

Worn daily for a few minutes to several hours, the night splint, over time has been clinically proven to reduce the pain and discomfort of plantar fasciitis and other overuse injuries of the lower leg.
