I am in an aircast for some torn ligaments in my right foot. I was diagnosed by x-rays, my podiatrist said the bone that runs along the second to pinky toe is connected by tissue and ligaments and he said there was too much space between them on the x-ray therefore that meant inflamation, thus torn ligaments. My first question I guess is....is that a correct diagnosis..I just want a second opinion since he did say torn ligamants cannot be detected on the x-ray..is this by reason of deduction? sendly he put me in an aircast which i can only remove to shower which is fine, its taken quite a bit of getting used to but i'm in the second day and my foot, ankle, heel and everywhere around it is so sore. I know its tight and thats the purpose but am I possibly not wearing it correctly? Is this normal and if so how long does something like this normally take to heal? Thank you for your insite
