Re: Fifth metatarsal?

Patients always ask this question. It is difficult to convince people in this day and age of immediate gratification that injuries take time to heal. If you were a high dollar athlete on a sports team, you would have access to high tech equipment, trainers, bone stimulators etc. Unfortunately for us mere mortals, time is what we need.

As a side note, I always remind patients that 6 weeks is a guesstimate. People all heal at different rates depending on age, health, compliance, etc.
