Re: peroneal tendon question

My podiatrist put me on non weight bearing based on the physical exam, before plain x-rays. She thought it might be the peroneal brevis, with possible avulsion of the 5th metatarsal, but the x-rays show no fracture, and she's been out of the office so I can't ask her. No MRI was done. I'm afraid of being on crutches etc. for 4 weeks if I don't have to be, thus the question about the toes. Thank you for your answer. At least I know I really should be conservative and patient until she returns.

A layer of gel combined with a foot cover to help protect metatarsals and toes from friction and pressure. It also ideal for cushioning the ball of foot and provides warmth for people suffering from arthritis or poor circulation to the toes.
