pain in side of right foot

On the outer side of my right foot, midway between last toe and heel, there is a bone...(I'm sure it's bone because I can feel it in both feet); however, the bone in my right foot seems to be larger and is extremely painful. In fact, it feels more like a lump than just a bone and is sensitive to pressure. Shoes hurt, touching it hurts and if I'm on my feet for more than a few minutes, it hurts. If I've been on my feet for awhile, the pain is tremendous and does not go away if I rest. Please tell me if this is something I should go to the doctor about, possible causes, etc.???

A silicone insert on the back of the Achillotrain leaves tendon pressure-free and provides intermittent compression for the reduction of swelling and edema.
