My granddaughter has had pain in her right foot since she was about 18 months old. It started with redness and pain from her knee to her big toe. Her peds dr dicounted it as nothing. She is now 5 yrs old and still wakes up in the middle of the night crying and I (and her mom) have to massage the top of her foot and her big toe to relieve the pain. I am dumbfounded to why this is happening and what is the cause. Her leg does not turn red anymore and she doesn't complain of it hurting. Actually last night is the first time she pinpointed to me the actual place of pain, I used to massage the sole of her foot, but she told me it is the top and her big toe. She is not wearing too small of shoes, so I don't know what to do for her. Thank You, Cheryl
