It might be too soon to tell, but the doctor can address this when you return for suture removal. The nerves in the toe are sensory and not motor nerves, so it is normal to have movement, even if the sensation is altered. It is also very common when a surgery is performed to have numbness. I can not tell you if it is temporary or not though
