Hi, I am currently recieving physiotherapy treatment for achilles tendinitis, my tendon has actually improved a great deal but now i have a new problem. The physiotherapist has been adminstering acupuncture and she recently hit a nerve ending in my foot that cause intense shooting pain throughout my whole foot, she took out the needle immediately but now i seem to be having a problem with a nerve in my foot. When my hamstring is completely straight and i flex my foot i get a burning, tingling and pulling sensation that travels from the inside of my heel, down across the heel to the middle of the foot. is it possible that i now have nerve damage, or could this just be temporary. Is there any way that this could be treated. Also is it possible that IFC can cause nerve damage? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
