fracture of 5th Metetarsal - How to reduce swelling
I twisted my foot stepping off a step and was diagnosed with a fracture of 5th Metetarsal.
It was 3 days before I had it x-rayed.
My foot is still (4 days) swollen a lot. I keep it elavated when I can - Should I use ice or heat?
What is normal time for swelling to subside?
thank you very much
