plantar fasciiatis and swollen bones

I started having pain on 2 different parts of my feet 6 months ago and since then have been in chronic pain.
One area is the heel and arch of both my feet and I was diagnosed with plantar fasciiatis. I saw a podiatrist who taped and gave me oral antiinflammatory, cortisone injections but that did not work (and I was having bad stomach pain), I was having pain and numbness in my 4th toes too so she suggested seeing a neurologist. He did not find any neuropathy and put me on neurontin (which works wonderfully but it is just hiding the problem). A sports medicine doctor made me do physical therapy for the past 3 months and change my orthodics, but I was discharge last week after the PT found no improvement in my fasciia tightness. But I have a standing job and never got disbility for the problem so kept walking all day.
I also happen to have "swollen bones" on my 3, 4 and 5th metatarsal (diagnosed as something like a stress fracture but they were not sure)and after wearing a walking boot for 2 months, I was told to be out of it but the pain on the top of my foot is coming back.

I was wondering if rest, which would mean sedentary work or even complete rest would be an option (and for how long for job purposes)as well as the use of night splint.
Please let me know your input as I do not know what to do now. If I do not take my medication I can barelly walk

Thanks a lot
