UPDATE: had some bleeding and discomfort around incision site....went to doc and he was glad I came in. Since it was Friday, if I'd have waited until Monday it COULD have been infected by then. However, I made it there in time, he took off most the cottony bandage they had wrapped around my foot, cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and re-bandaged it with just a plain big Band-Aid and a netting sock to go over it. It feels a lot better now. He said full recovery will take up to 6 weeks. No matter WHAT kind of foot surgery you have, that's usually the case. I had Tarsal Tunnel Surgery back in April.......this surgery hurt the same afterwards as that. Don't let anyone tell you one surgery is easier than the other one.......
