Re: scarring after blister

Neosporin Scar Solution (OTC) is suppose to minimize scarring. The blister is healed over but has left dry, hard scar tissue and that's what's causing the pain. At least that's what the follow-up physician told me. All I know is that there is pain around the area where the blister was and my toe is swollen. The E.R. doctor scraped off the top layer when he lanced the blister, so I don't know if that's what caused the scarring. The pain is lessened when the toe is exposed, so I will ask my boss about wearing a sandal on that foot. Thank you!!
