I had surgery on both my little toes almost 3 months ago for bone spurs. I still cannot wear a pair of shoes. I have searched the net to try and find out what is wrong with my toes. I hope you can help me. I have a very small place on the side of my little toe (hardly bigger than pinpoint but smaller than a match head) that keeps me from wearing shoes. I wore bedroom shoes for about a month after the surgery - even to work. I have 2 pair of shoes where my toes do not touch the leather. I work in an office and it is hard to walk around to work. I tried a pumice stone rubbing as gently as I could. This does not even look like a corn. No hard or discolored skin. After rubbing with the pumice stone the place still showing looks like the head of a boil but this is not a boil either. Short of going back to the specialist can you give me any idea what this is and how serious it may be? Please...!!!
