RSD is also known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. There are different stages. You did not indicate what stage you are in. When I think a patient has RSD, I will refer to a neurologist for evaluation. Sometimes I will send to a pain management specialist. There are many things that are tried for this most difficult condition and what works on one may not on another. Neurontin can be helpful, but as you said not always. There are other medications that can be tried as well. Electrical stim, interferential wave form etc have been known to help. I can not really say if Acupuncture is helpful or not for this condition.

If you will do a Google search for this you can probably get alot of information.

The proprietary gel also provides extra protective padding to help comfort the pain caused by metatarsal soreness. May be used for relieving the burning sensation under the metatarsal heads, calluses and tarsal fat pads.
