Re: sesamoid screw

While I understand it in principle, I have not done this nor do I have any references to papers about this procedure. I would assume you would need to be non-weight bearing afterward. I wonder how the screw is inserted? Does any part of it interfere with the articulation at the metatarsal head?

You might consider asking the doctor for more information, studies, how successful is this method?
