Peroneal tendon surgery and bunionectomy

Hello,

Last week I had peroneal tendon repair surgery and a bunionectomy on my left foot. Am taking Percocet, some nasal pain spray and antibiotics. Will change to vicodin soon.

Am going to be non-weightbearing for 6 weeks and no work. I wondered if anyone had any ideas about what happens after those 6 weeks? Will I be able to stand all day to work at that time?

I elevate the foot and use ice behind my knee. Anything else I could be doing for pain, or to heal more quickly?

Many thanks!

Deb
