A few weeks after your MVA, I was in one and had a calcaneal fracture. Rolled over twice. Thank heavens for seat beats or I would not be writing this. I had other injuries as well (wrecked knee, broken ribs, punctured lung...) but the foot was by far the worst. My doc says with the calcaneal injury it takes 2 years before you fully know the permanent extent of the injury. Fortunately, I found a great support group online for people that fractured their calcaneus. It’s a great group that provides lots of first hand experiences and info. We have lots of medical journal studies and files on the site.
