Re: Cuboid fracture not recovering

hi

I was just recently diagnosed with an avulsion fracture of the cuboid bone too. Also from playing basketball. I inverted my ankle and thought I had just badly sprained it, but it turned out to be a fractured bone. Is this what you did?
I went to the orthopedist and he said to treat it like a sprain- no cast or any other special treatment. After 2 weeks, I am still using crutches to get around. It is really painful, and not just when I put pressure on it or move it. Sometimes I will just get shooting pain that comes and goes. Did this happen to you too?
If this is the same injury you had, I am curious to know if you had any of these problems and how your recovery went.
Hope you figure out whats going on and get better soon.
Thanks

Softens and remove corns in a most comfortable way. It is ideal to help relieve pain on a toe or finger affected by corns, blebs, blisters, hammertoes, calluses and digital traumas.
