bubble on toe.

I went walking the other morning and after a half hour my feet, especially my pinkie toe, started hurting! when I got home there was this enlarged bubble on my pinkie toe that was bright red!! and it was very painful. The redness went away after a few days and so did the pain, but I work high heels today and the pain on the bubble came back. It looks like I can just pick at it and rip it off. But is it my sneakers?, should I get new ones? because this is the first time it has happend. I've had these New Balance sneakers for almost 6 years and my feet never hurt in heels, I think the bubble got irritated in my heels. But I think it was all because of my sneaker. But I'm not sure. Please HELP!!!! Thank You.
