pain in right foot at night

I woke up this morning with sharp pain in my right foot. It was so bad that I took Acetaminophen. That helped for a while, but the pain returned. I noticed that when I stood on my foot, there was no pain.

Waking from right foot pain happened before, three months ago. A podiatrist x-rayed the foot and told me I had a green stick break. He cut some of the callus from my big toe, also.

Since then I saw an orthopedist who thought I had a tendon problem in my ankle, so I got an MRI. From that he said there was fluid in my foot and that I could wear support hose for the problem. I wore them today when shopping.

Both my feet have bunions so I have to wear wide shoes and flip flops to prevent discomfort.

I have no idea why I am waking up from foot pain and need to know why. Thank you.

The Shin Splint Compression Wrap applies gentle pressure on soft tissue next to the tibia (shin bone), helping prevent additional tearing of the soft tissue away from the tibia. Compression not only reduces additional damage, it alleviates pain and enhances the healing process.
