BAD Ancle/Foot sprane w/ calf muscle spasims

Is it normal when you have injured your foot and ancle that your mucles in your leg will feel like there being plucked and cramping with pain.. is it the muscle along the outside of the calf or could it be tendons or ligaments... its a strange feeling.. almost like something is crawling under my skin and it hurts alot!

Please reply as soon as you can.. i would like to know what i can do for this.
