Hi Tim -

The level of pain depends on the time of day and my current activity. Driving or standing for any length of time is moderately painful but apparently, so is sleeping. I have been regularly (like every night for the past two weeks) been awoken with excrutiating pain between two and four every morning. Do you think cortisone shots are in order - along with the orthotics? Plus, the pain has been in my first two toes all along (many, many weeks longer than the past two) and now it seems to be migrating to the middle toe as well. Could something else be going on or am I being hypochondriacal?
